And You Creations runs four boat tours out of Honolulu, and between them they cover most of what people come to Oahu’s water for.
Wild spinner dolphins and turtle snorkeling on the west coast, a short turtle snorkel straight off Waikiki, humpback whales in winter, and a sunset party cruise for adults.
Three of the four include round-trip transportation from Waikiki. Pick the one that fits your trip.
Dolphins and You; Dolphin Watching & Snorkeling CruiseAdults $189 / Children $146 (ages 2–11) / 3-hour excursion / daily
The big one. You sail out of Waianae Harbor on the west coast, where wild Hawaiian spinner dolphins are seen most mornings, then anchor to snorkel with green sea turtles and reef fish. There is a 20-foot waterslide off the boat, kayaks and paddleboards, a hula performance and a Hawaiian chant on deck, and lunch is included.

Turtles and You; Turtle Canyon Snorkel CruiseAdults $125 / Children $99 (ages 2–11) / 2 hours / daily
The short, easy one, and the closest to your hotel. A double-decker boat leaves Kewalo Basin and runs out to Turtle Canyon off Diamond Head, where Hawaiian green sea turtles gather over the reef. Gear is provided and the crew keeps it beginner-friendly, with a hula show on the way back.
Details
Whales and You; Humpback Whale Watching CruiseAdults $99 / Children $69 (ages 3–11) / 2 hours / December 1; March 31 only
Winter only. Thousands of humpback whales come to Hawaiian waters between December and March, and this cruise runs along Oahu’s Gold Coast to find them. An underwater hydrophone plays their songs through the boat, and a naturalist explains what you are watching.
Details
Ocean and You; Waikiki Sunset Party CruiseNon-Friday $79 / Friday $99 / ages 21+ only / 2 hours (Friday 2.5)
The adults-only evening cruise. A double-decker party boat leaves Kewalo Harbor at sunset with a live DJ, a dance floor and a full bar, running past Diamond Head as the Waikiki city lights come on. Friday sailings stay out longer to watch the weekly Waikiki fireworks from the water.

On the Dolphins, Turtles and Whales cruises, a shuttle collects you from a designated Waikiki stop. Pickup runs from about 6:00 AM for the morning dolphin tour to 11:35 AM for the afternoon sailings. The Sunset Party Cruise has no pickup — you meet at Kewalo Harbor.
Dolphins and You sails from Waianae Boat Harbor on the west coast. The other three leave from Kewalo Basin Harbor, about two miles from Waikiki. Shoes come off before boarding and go into onboard storage.
The crew introduces itself and runs through safety. On the Dolphins and Whales cruises the trip opens with the E Ho Mai chant, a Hawaiian protocol asking for a safe passage.
What happens next depends on the cruise: spinner dolphins and a snorkel stop on the west coast, Turtle Canyon off Diamond Head, humpback whales along the Gold Coast, or sunset and city lights on the evening cruise.
Lunch on the Dolphins cruise, snacks on the Turtles and Whales cruises, a drink ticket and a live DJ on the sunset cruise. Three of the four include a live hula performance on board.
Boats are back at the harbor two to three hours after departure, with the shuttle returning you to Waikiki about 30 minutes later.
Dolphins and You is the full day out — dolphins, snorkeling, a waterslide and lunch. Turtles and You is the quick, easy snorkel close to Waikiki. Whales and You runs only in winter. Ocean and You is an adults-only sunset party cruise.
No. Swimming with wild dolphins is prohibited by law in Hawaii. The Dolphins and You cruise is observation only — you watch them from the boat. The snorkeling on that tour is with sea turtles and reef fish at a separate stop.
If nobody on board sees a turtle, the captain designates it a no-sighting tour and you can rejoin the Turtles and You cruise free until you see one. It is free rebooking only, not a refund, and it stays valid for three years. If even one guest sees a turtle, the tour does not qualify.
Humpback whales are in Hawaiian waters from about December through March. The Whales and You cruise operates December 1 through March 31 only. Outside that window, whales are sometimes still spotted from the other cruises in the winter months.

Dolphins and You and Turtles and You do not allow children under 2. Whales and You is free for children under 2 with no meal. The Ocean and You sunset cruise is strictly 21 and over, with photo ID required.
Wear your swimsuit under your clothes and bring a towel, sunglasses, a hat and a light jacket. Use reef-safe sunscreen. Leave valuables behind. Shoes are not allowed on the boats — storage is provided, and clean reef shoes or grip socks are fine.
