Is it in the ocean?

No. Wai Kai is built around a sheltered inland lagoon, so the water stays calm regardless of ocean conditions. That makes it well suited to families and first-time paddlers.

What experiences can I choose from?

Three passes. Wai Kai Ultimate Experience (ages 10+, from $164) includes a surf session, Paddle Pass, the floating obstacle courses, Nalo Kai access with a locker, VIP Lounge access and dining credits. A standing surf wave that runs continuously, so you can practise without waiting for ocean swell. A surf session is included with the Ultimate Experience, and separate surf lessons and sessions are also available.

What is on the floating obstacle course?

Over an acre of interconnected inflatables — AquaVenture, the elevated AquaPeakz course, the Ewa Slider 20-foot slide and climb tower, plus balance beams, monkey bars, wiggle bridges and splash zones.

Do I need to know how to swim?

Life jackets are provided and required, and lifeguards are on duty. Comfort in the water helps, but you do not need to be a strong swimmer.

Is equipment provided?

Yes. Paddleboards, kayaks, hydro bikes and life jackets are included with the relevant passes at no extra charge.

Are showers and changing rooms available?

Yes. Showers and changing areas are on site, along with loungers, umbrellas and private beach access.
