More than seventy percent of Kauai cannot be reached by road. There is no highway around the island, so the Na Pali cliffs, the interior valleys and most of the waterfalls are only visible from the air. That is the case for flying here rather than driving.

Blue Hawaiian has been flying the Hawaiian islands since 1985 and operates from two heliports on Kauai. Every flight is narrated by the pilot, with the route timed so the light falls well on the cliffs.

Two heliports.Lihue is next to the airport on the east side; Princeville is on the north shore. Tell us which is closer to where you are staying.
