Maui has two things you cannot reach by car; the inside of the West Maui mountains, and the north shore of Molokai across the channel. The Molokai sea cliffs are among the tallest in the world and eighty-eight miles of that coast has no road at all. Waterfalls drop off the cliff face straight into the sea.
Blue Hawaiian flies all four routes from Kahului, next to the airport, so the heliport is easy to reach from anywhere on the island. Every flight is narrated by the pilot.
